This page is my private page. The maintenance of courses, local as well as remote, is carried out in MS Teams. Therefore please watch the information given through Teams and your students' e-mail addresses in the domain sggw.edu.pl. Here I provide some documents which are useful in your participation in the courses, only to make things easier.
New informations are marked with the icon for three days, and then with for two weeks from the day of their announcement.

At present I do not give seminars in English. This section is only a wrapper for the following content.
Most of the students write their diploma theses in editors which support the format .doc or .docx using the template from the "Guidance". The thesis can also be written in the LaTeX system. This is supported by the class SGGW-thesis-EN .
The present version is the beta version 1.071b2 of 2024.11.12. The class is at the stage of development and the description is being translated. For details see the class file and the description in main-EN.tex and in main-EN.pdf.
In the ZIP archive provided above there is the class file SGGW-thesis-EN.cls and the engineer's thesis of Mr. Łukasz Adamczyk containing its description. The thesis conforms to the requirements of the "Guidance". The thesis itself has been written with the use of the class that it describes. The source file is also provided; it constitutes an example of a thesis written in LaTeX and it can be used as a template for your thesis.
In the thesis, among others, the installation of the class in the local LaTeX system in the student's computer is described. The easiest way of installing the class is to place the class and the auxiliary files (images, bibliography file etc.) in the same directory in which the edited work resides.
The class can be used to wite a bachelor's, engineer's as well as master's thesis.
The class is maintained to provide for conformity to the requirements of WULS - SGGW, and serviced technically. Changes introduced in the subsequent versions are described in the class file SGGW-thesis.cls, and starting from version 1.06 in the readme file. The class in English is maintained concurrently to the class in Polish.
Większość studentów pisze prace dyplomowe w edytorach wspierających format .doc lub .docx posługując się wzorcem z Zarządzenia Rektora. Można także napisać pracę w systemie LaTeX. Ułatwia to klasa SGGW-thesis.
Obecna wersja: 1.071a z dnia 2025.01.12.
W udostępnionym archiwum ZIP znajduje się plik klasy SGGW-thesis.cls oraz praca inżynierska p. Łukasza Adamczyka zawierająca jej opis. Praca jest zgodna z wymaganiami SGGW. Sama praca została napisana z użyciem klasy, którą opisuje. Źródło pracy jest również udostępnione; stanowi ono samo w sobie przykład pracy napisanej w LaTeXu i można go użyć jako wzorzec dla Państwa pracy.
W pracy opisano między innymi sposób instalacji klasy w lokalnym systemie LaTeX w komputerze dyplomanta. Najłatwiejszą wersją instalacji jest umieszczenie pliku klasy i plików pomocniczych (np. obrazy, plik bibliografii) w tym samym katalogu, w którym znajduje się edytowana praca.
Klasy można użyć do napisania pracy licencjackiej, inżynierskiej lub magisterskiej.
Klasa jest aktualizowana dla zachowania zgodności z wymaganiami SGGW oraz konserwowana technicznie. Zmiany wprowadzanie w kolejnych wersjach są opisane w pliku klasy SGGW-thesis.cls, a od wersji 1.06 w pliku readme.
Do zimy 2019-20 w każdym semestrze tworzyłem nową stronę. Od lata 2019-2020 nie robię już takiego podziału.
